That's twice in three weeks.. four times in three months.. not to shabby.
Although I'm obsessed with patterns. We won the first and last weeks in May, none in June, and the first and last weeks in July (since there wasn't a game on the 4th). Hopefully, we can break this by winning in August...

Well, it's not the job I was looking for...
As some of us still hunt for teaching jobs, I made progress in some extra part time work. After trivia last week, the host announced they are looking for more people to host since they are expanding. Thursday, I applied and meet the owner of Live Prize Trivia that night.
And on Tuesday I get to starting training as a scorekeeper in Rancho Bernardo! After a few training sessions I'll be hosting at a local venue. I'll get some gas money and possibly free drinks!! Excited so I had to share.

BOOM! BIG NEWS!
So it's a week without trivia- sad.
But here's a little pick-me-up to get you through the week. I was doing some pondering the other day I came upon an exciting conclusion. The Fourth of July has always been exciting for me, mainly because of what happens a week later. Some people are shy about this fact or want to keep it on the down low. But not me. Next week, on 7/11, your captain will be having a birthday!
So we will load up on Slurpee's and rollerdogs and storm the 55-Yard Line. I hope to have as many people as we can, and I really want to win, (cuz it's my birthday!) Looking forward to outdoing my party last year at Chuck E. Cheese. Not a joke- click here.
There is nothing a want more for my birthday: a trophy and a pint* with friends. (*actually, it's gonna be multiple pints)
